Are Vegetarians Unhealthy?

We have all heard that plants heal the body. True!

They lower overall cholesterol and A1C, improve heart health, fight cancer, detox the body, and a load of other health benefits from plants.

What if you ONLY eat plants and exclude all animal proteins LONGTERM?

Ok, scientific studies have been done in Finland, Germany, and Switzerland, (not the US) on the blood serum of ‘long-term’ vegans and vegetarians.

The findings are that vegans and vegetarians are more deficient in these

Omegas

Calcium

Iron

Iodine

Selenium

These deficits long-term can negatively affect the thyroid, immune system, and mental & emotional health  -increasing depression and anxiety, and causing hair loss, weak bones, muscle wasting, skin rashes to name several.

Those who ate some animal protein fared better in these nutrients.

Why?

Many vegetarians aren’t getting a balanced amino acid blend of protein. Also, there is a lower absorption rate of some nutrients from plants- omegas for one.

However, those who ate an abundance of animal protein had problems with the heart, A1C, acidity, liver, and a host of other body organ system issues.

Conclusion: a plant dominant diet -a plant slant diet- with animal proteins in moderation is a good goal. And the animal protein must be clean and quality, (from humanely treated animals).

Am I telling you not to be a vegetarian or vegan?

No

I am suggesting that you learn to build your vegetarian plate properly and balance nutrients with supplementation.

I can help you do ALL this as I studied this in my education.

Also, my supplements are THE gold standard!

It's time for a lifestyle of health.

PARENTS! It is super important to help your vegetarian children navigate this. I would love to help.
